Teach Your Kids about the Census
Recently, Governor Kemp announced that students in Georgia will not return to school before April 24. After more than a week of distance learning, parents are accessing online tools to enhance the learning experience. A great opportunity is to include the 2020 Census in your learning activities.
The U.S. Census created a resource for teachers, students, and parents to use. This count impacts the federal funds that communities receive for special education, classroom technology, teacher training, after-school programs, school lunch assistance, and more.
